Export control

U.S. export law applies to the hardware we sell. What we need from you, what we cannot supply, and how classification and licences work.

Effective 8 November 2026 Applies to: Big Sky Dynamics LLC

U.S. export law applies

The hardware and technology we sell are subject to United States export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). When you buy from us, you agree to comply with those laws and with the import laws of the destination country.

Most of the equipment we sell is commercially available and eligible for export under a licence exception, but the buyer's destination, end use and end user decide whether an export is permitted. That determination is made per order.

What we need from you

  • The final destination country and the delivery address, not just the billing address
  • The end use of the equipment, and the end user if it is not you
  • Written confirmation that the equipment will not be re-exported contrary to U.S. law
  • End-user or end-use statements where we ask for them, signed by an authorised person
  • Export licence documentation where a licence is required

We may hold or decline an order if the destination, end use or end user does not support the export. We will tell you why in writing.

Destinations and parties we cannot serve

We do not sell or ship to countries or regions subject to comprehensive U.S. embargoes, or to parties on U.S. restricted-party lists, including denied persons and entities. We screen the parties on an order before release. If a party on the order is restricted, we decline the order and do not process payment for it.

You must not use our products in prohibited military end uses, in the development or production of weapons of mass destruction, or in any application prohibited by U.S. law.

ITAR-controlled items

We do not accept orders for items controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and we do not accept ITAR-controlled technical data. If your project involves ITAR-controlled items, tell us at the quoting stage so we can decline or route the requirement correctly rather than discover it after an order is placed.

Classification and licences

We do not issue an official commodity classification for a third-party manufacturer's product. Where an order needs the export classification or a licence, we obtain the manufacturer's current classification information for the exact part number and share it under the relevant terms. The buyer remains responsible for the licence and for the export declaration.

Duties, taxes and customs charges at the destination are the buyer's responsibility and are not included in our prices.
